Troopers on Scene of Fatal Crash Near Darrington

Darrington, WA – Washington State Patrol Troopers have been on  scene of a fatality collision on SR-530 near Darrington since around 4 p.m. this afternoon.

Washington State Patrol Public Information Officer For District 87, Heather Axtman said “The vehicle was reportedly at a high rate of speed prior to failing to negotiate the curve in the road. The vehicle lost control and struck the pole. The Eastbound lane is blocked.”
