Camano Island, Washington- On Friday, August 12, 2016, at around 2:00 PM the Island County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for a dead body discovered on the beach on the west side of Camano Island near Cama Beach State Park. The Island County Coroner’s Office is asking for information from the public that may help identify the person.
The subject is a white male, approximately 6 foot tall and weighing around 190 pounds. He had brown or hazel eyes. He has a short, graying beard and was balding. The man was found wearing a gray sweat shirt with “UNLV Running Rebels” and a dark shirt with multi-colored children’s hand prints and the words “Dad” and “Love Paul”. He was also wearing dark shorts and dark Saucony athletic shoes.
The man is estimated to be in his late 40’s to early 60’s and the incident most likely occurred on the morning of Friday August 12, 2016.
The Island County Sheriff’s Office will be releasing photographs of the mans clothing if he is not identified without the photos.
