Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Recovers Body near SR530 in Arlington

Snohomish County, WA – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has recovered the body of a missing man off of State Route 530 east of Arlington.

According to a press memo from Courtney O’Keefe, communications specialist for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, around 2:30 p.m. on April 11th, 2019, the body was discovered by someone doing work in the area near the 30500 block of State Route 530.

The deceased  is believed to be a male in his 60’s who was reported missing to another local law enforcement agency in March of 2018.

At this time, the Sheriff’s Office says the death does not appear suspicious but is being investigated by detectives with the Major Crimes Unit.

A positive Identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner will come from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
