List of #530Slide victims and missing 04/09/14

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has received a total of 36 victims from the State Route
#530Slide, has positively identified 32, and is working diligently on identifying the remaining 4 victims. We
are working closely with the families and extend our most heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends
during this difficult time.  There are still 10 reported missing, (see the list at the end of this page) and at least 5 people were rescued alive from the slide and are recovering at area hospitals.

#32 Larry J. Miller

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a 58 year old male who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Larry Jay Miller of Everett, WA. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a 2-year old female who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Brooke Spillers of Arlington, WA. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
30-year old male who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Billy L. Spillers of Arlington, WA.
The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
61-year old female who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Mary M. Satterlee of Arlington,

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
75-year old male who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Jerry L. Halstead of Arlington, WA.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
13-year old male who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Jovon E. Mangual of Arlington, WA.

34-year old female who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Katie F. Ruthven of Arlington, WA.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
19-year old female who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Delaney M. Webb of Arlington,
WA. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has positively identified the victim of the SR 530 Slide who
died at Harborview Medical Center on March 22, 2013 as Adam M. Farnes, age 23. The cause of death is
blunt force injuries of the head and torso. The manner of death is Accident.

#21. Lon E. Slauson
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
60-year old male who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Lon E. Slauson of Arlington, WA.
The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and identification of a
55-year old male who was involved in the 530 slide. The decedent is Stephen A. Neal of Darrington,
Washington. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.

Christina A. Jefferds has been identified as a victim of the SR 530 landslide by the Snohomish County
Medical Examiner’s Office. She was a 45-year-old female resident of Arlington, Washington. The cause of
death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident.
