Sedro Woolley Man Injured in SR20 Accident

Sedro Woolley, WA: April 12th, 2015. 2:29am. The Sedro Woolley Fire Department, Medic 1 and Troopers from The Washington State Patrol responded to a one car injury accident on State Route 20, near milepost 70 in Sedro Woolley. 

Troopers say, Almonte Benjamin, 23, of Sedro Woolley was driving a 2008 Toyota Rav4 Westbound on State Highway 20 when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle left the roadway, rolled over coming to rest on its wheels.  The driver was transported priority to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon and then airlifted to Harboview Medical center in Seattle with injuries. 

Troopers say it is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.  The driver was wearing his seat belt and the cause of the accident is listed as Speeds too fast for conditions. 

The vehicle was totaled and impounded to Carl's Towing
