Pioneer Highway Crash involving bus injures 2

Conway, WA: Firefighters and medics from the District 3 Fire Department  in Conway, Washington,  responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a school bus this afternoon on Pioneer Highway.

Initial reports are that a flat bed delivery truck,  rear ended a Conway School Bus.

Medics on scene reported two “yellow” and two “green” patients, indicating they had two subjects with minor injuries and two subjects with no injuries.

It is reported that there were a handful of students on the bus and none were seriously injured.

Firefighters had to use extrication tools, commonly referred to as “The Jaws” to extricate a passenger in the flatbed truck.

Antifreeze was seen leaking from the school bus onto the roadway.

Washington State Patrol traffic accident specialists are en route.

Expect delays in the area for quite some time.
