Camano Island, WA: The Washington State Patrol responded to a fatal Car accident around 3 am on Sunday, July 5th, 2015.
Troopers were notified of a single vehicle accident at NW Camano Drive and Carp Lake Road.
According to the Press memo from The Washington State Patrol, 21 year old Mathew Convey, of Camano Island was traveling Westbound on NW Camano Drive in a 1988 Jeep Cherokee when he failed to negotiate a corner. His vehicle left the roadway and traveled down the embankment, striking a tree. He died at the scene.
The press memo states that alcohol or drug use were unknown and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
The vehicle was impounded by Dicks Towing.
