Burlington, WA: NW United FC will host their 2nd annual “Skagit Super Cup” youth soccer tournament at Skagit River Park on the weekend of August 14 through 16. Their 2015 games have nearly 170 registered teams.

To give you an idea of what to prepare for, by comparison the recent Washington Rush Cup tournament hosted on July 31 – August 2 drew 270 teams. While the Super Cup is a bit smaller, it will no doubt still be impactful to local businesses and nearby residents.

The Super Cup games are expected to draw anywhere from 5,500 to 11,000 participants and spectators over the course of the weekend.

Games are anticipated to begin at 9AM on Friday, August 14 and conclude Sunday, August 16 by 6PM.

Tourney organizers are allowing RVs & overnight camping at the play fields which will begin arriving Thursday evening the 13th.
