Rollover Crash Blocks All Lanes of SR 2

Leavenworth, WA- On October 22nd, 2015 around 8:19 am Troopers from the Washington State Patrol responded to a semi Rollover Collision on East State Route 2, near milepost 77. This is about 22 miles West of Leavenworth. 

According to the press memo from the Washington State Patrol, Mark Spahr, 43 of Burlington was driving a 1997 Peterbilt Tractor with a side-dump trailer Eastbound on SR 2 when he failed to negotiate a curve to the right. The press memo states he lost control of the vehicle and it then rolled, lost it’s  load and struck the guardrail. The vehicle came to rest, blocking all lanes of State Route 2.

The driver was not injured in the crash and the press memo states the cause of the accident was “speed too fast”.

The vehicle was towed by Randy’s Towing.

According to the press memo, drugs or Alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
