Stanwood Man Stabbed Overnight

Stabbing File PhotoSTANWOOD, Wash. – A 42 year-old Stanwood man was stabbed in the chest in the early morning hours of October 24th, 2015. According to a press memo from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office,  a 47 year-old man was stabbed in the 26200 block of Marine Dr.

Both the victim and suspect live on the same property, but in different residences.  The victim was returning home around 1:45 a.m. on his bicycle when he was confronted by the suspect in their shared driveway.

The suspect allegedly punched the victim, and then stabbed him.  The victim was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.  His current condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect is expected to be booked in Snohomish County jail later this morning.
