Missing Seattle Firefighter’s Vehicle Found Abandoned at Deception Pass

Seattle, WA- Seattle police are working to locate a missing Seattle Firefighter after he did not arrive for a scheduled work shift on Thursday evening and his car was found by  parks employees at the Deception Pass parking lot around 8:30 am  on Saturday morning.

According to a press release from the Seattle Police Department, Colleagues of Joshua Ryan Milton, 36, contacted police when he did not arrive for his 5:30 PM shift as a paramedic student at Harborview Medical Center. Police have attempted to locate Firefighter Milton and contact him by phone, but have been unsuccessful.

Milton was last seen near Harborview at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The car he was reported to have been driving, a white 2000 Honda Accord, license Plate number ABR2611 was found at the Deception Pass Parking Lot.

The Seattle Police Department is actively investigating this as a missing person case and encourages anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Firefighter Milton to contact Seattle Police.

A search and rescue mission was started near Deception Pass where his vehicle was found.

Firefighter Milton joined the Seattle Fire Department in 2012, and was recently accepted into the paramedic program. He is 36- years old and his father is a Lieutenant with the Seattle Fire Department. Firefighter Milton is married with a three-year-old son.
