Skagit County, WA- On Thursday January 28th, around 4:08 pm members of the Alger Fire Department, Medic 4 and the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Barrell Springs Road on Blanchard Mountain for reports of a deceased man that had been found by hikers about 1/4 mile off of the Oyster Dome Trail near the Oyster Dome Lookout.
Search and Rescue Members responded and removed the body and it was turned over to the Skagit County Medical Examiner.
The man has not been identified but a car believed to belong to the man was found near the trail head.
Additional Details on the man’s death were not available.
