La Conner, Washington– Emergency Personnel responded to the La Conner boat launch around 8:00pm on March 30th, 2016 for reports of a vehicle into the water.
According to information obtained by SkagitBreaking.com, the driver of the below pictured Dodge Truck was trying to load a Kayak into his truck when the truck rolled down the boat Launch and into the water.
The boat launch is really deep at the end of the dock, and rescue crews couldn’t see the truck. The water was also very murky at the time.A diver was called in to assist with the vehicle recovery.
The Driver of the truck was not injured although the truck suffered severe water damage.
Mike from Budget towing did the recovery, and Brian from North West Diving & Marine Services did the dive to hook up the tow truck.
