Lakewood, Washington– Two dangerous criminals have escaped from Western State Hospital around 7:30 pm tonight through a loose window in their room.
According to Lakewood Police, both men, Anthony Garver and Mark Alexander Adams, are dangerous and mentally ill. The men were last seen around 6 pm in the Hospital’s dinning area. Staff noticed they were missing and immediately reported them to police around 7:30 pm.
Officers said, The two had arrived at Western State Hospital in February on a “180 commit” from Snohomish County after both were found not competent to stand trail.

Anthony Garver, 28, was arrested in 2013 for 1st degree murder. He was accused of gagging a woman and stabbing her in the chest 24 times before cutting her throat.
He is described as 5’8″ tall, 250 pounds with curly brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt and orange flip flops.

Mark Alexander Adams, 59, was sent to Western State Hospital to receive treatment after he was found not competent to stand trial in a 2014 Domestic Violence (DV) case.
He is described as being 6 feet tall, with long blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and grey shorts.
Both subjects are considered dangerous to others and Lakewood police ask the public to call 9-1-1 if you see the subjects.
Do not attempt to contact, approach or apprehend the men.
UPDATE: Both Men are back in custody.
