Detectives Search Properties in Ellensburg in Murder Investigation of Missing Arlington Couple

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Sheriff’s Office detectives searched several properties in Ellensburg yesterday, including the residence belonging to the parents of 53 year-old John Blaine Reed and his brother, 49 year-old Tony Clyde Reed.   Working with the Ellensburg Police Department, detectives searched their home at the 600 block of E Tacoma Ave, two storage units, and the residence of Tony Reed.

Detectives are following up on investigative leads, as well as evidence found at several locations, including the former property of John Reed, the home of the victims, the vehicles of the victims, and the vehicles of the suspects.

The current location of John and Tony Reed is still unknown.  The Sheriff’s Office continues to work with several local and federal law enforcement agencies to locate the suspects.

WANTED

WANTED FOR MURDER

Ground search operations to locate 45 year-old Patrick Shunn and his wife, 46 year-old Monique Patenaude, believed to be victims of murder, resumed today.  Search crews will be reviewing evidence and leads to identify specific areas to concentrate search efforts.
