Mount Vernon High School science night is an event held on Thursday, April 28th, from 5:30 – 8:00. Anyone with the slightest interest in any field of science should take advantage of this free opportunity to see what the Mount Vernon High School science department can put together. Science night will be an appropriate and exciting event for community members of all ages!
In addition to hosting local community exhibitors, science night will also showcase a crime scene, explosions, body parts, geology, a nocturnal room, chemistry, marine biology, and fire. All of this will take place in the new main building, aside from rocket launching, which will begin at the softball field at 5:15. There will also be a kid’s room and free planetarium shows (get your tickets in the cafeteria!). Food will be available for purchase at a taco truck and at the MVHS student store.
A lot of talented Mount Vernon High School staff and students are hugely passionate about this unique event and are sure to make it an unforgettable, enriching experience for everyone involved!
