Fire Destroys Clear Lake Home


Clear Lake, Washington- Firefighters from the Clear Lake, Big Lake and Sedro Woolley Fire Department responded to a  structure fire on Sunday Lane in  Clear Lake this morning.


According to one neighbor, he was outside when he saw a large column of black smoke. He said he looked over to see the house on fire and called 9-1-1. He told Skagitbreaking.com he was the 2nd person to call the fire in.

Another witnesses on scene said,  the home owners were out of town when the fire started.  The witness also said, Thankfully,  there were no injuries to any pets or people.

The home sustained substantial damage in the fire although official estimates of the damage were not available, as firefighters were still attempting to extinguish the flames of the fire.

A car, parked in a garage was also said to be destroyed in the fire.

The homeowners Son showed up on scene about an hour after the fire started and was visibly upset.
