Northern State Hospital Pond To Close for Kids Fishing Derby

Sedro Woolley, Washington-  The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife will close the Pond at Northern State Hospital, located outside of sedro Woolley, Washington  for all game  fishing on May 5th and 6th, 2016.  

The Pond will open on May 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Kids Fishing Derby. 

This rule change is necessary to ensure a successful derby. The fish will be planted in the pond two days prior to the event to better acclimate them.

 The kids fishing derby is sponsored by the Wildcat Steelhead.Club.
