King County, Washington- The Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle fatality crash on Eastbound State Route 2, near milepost 43, 8 miles East of Index.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 28-year old John Benveuti of Marysville was Eastbound on SR2 in a purple 1996 Dodge Caravan when his vehicle left the roadway to the right, struck a tree and rolled onto its roof.
Mr. Benveuti was wearing a seat belt, but died at the scene.
The press memo states the cause of the crash is under investigation and it was unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Next of Kin was notified by Trooper. Vanderwielen and Trooper Rogers.
The vehicle was impounded by Sky Valley Towing for safe keeping.
