Oak Harbor Man Injured in SR20 Crash

Skagit County, Washington- The Washington State Patrol responded to a injury crash on North State Route 20 near milepost 36 around 8:34 am on June 30th, 2016.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 26 year old Fernando Aguilar of Oak Harbor was Northbound on State Route 20 near Milepost 36 in Island County when he lost control of his green 2000 Ford Ranger Truck. The press memo states he crossed into the Southbound Lanes, left the roadway, struck a tree and landed on its roof.

Mr. Aguilar was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

The Vehicle was impounded by Christian Towing for safe keeping.

The Cause of the crash and charges are under investigation.
