Skagit County, WA – The subject of the 2017 revaluation for assessment is the La Conner and Conway school districts. Appraisers from the Assessor’s Office will be inspecting all commercial, farm and residential properties in the two districts starting in September. With the exception of properties issued building permits in the six years since, the last inspections for this area occurred in 2011.
Inspections involve an exterior walk-around of structures and new photos are taken. Questions regarding interior features may be asked of residents present at the time of inspection.
Appraisers are instructed to knock on the front door prior to their walk-around. They wear distinctive blue vests with Skagit County on the back and carry county identification cards.
