Skagit County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle crash in the 16000 block of Colony Road, 7 miles North of Burlington around 7:12 pm on October 15th, 2016.
According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, 34- year old Tauna Frizzell of La Conner was traveling Westbound on Colony Road in a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer when her vehicle left the roadway to the left and struck a tree.
The press memo states Tauna Frizzell was believed to be driving under the influence at the time of the crash and was injured. She was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital for treatment.
A passenger in the vehicle, 36-year old Kristen Stallings-Sande of Sedro Woolley was injured in the crash and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The press memo states he was not wearing a seat belt.
Charges are pending against the driver for Vehicular Assault.
