Man Struck by Vehicle on SR11 Near Cook Road, Driver Fled

Skagit County, WA – The Washington State patrol responded to a vehicle verses pedestrian crash on State Route 11 just South of Cook Road around 6:37 am on November 20th, 2016.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 60-year old Larry Fatland of Bow was walking Southbound on or near the shoulder of State Route 11 when a vehicle traveling Southbound on State Route 11 struck him.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop.

Mr. Fatland was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital with injuries.

If you have information on the hit and run driver, you are asked to call 9-1-1.
