Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two vehicle crash on State Route 9 at 132nd Avenue in Snohomish County around 1:47 pm on December 17th, 2016.

According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, 28-year old Andrea Veillard of Arlington was traveling Westbound on 132nd Street Northeast in a 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup when she attempted to make a left hand turn onto Southbound State Route 9. Troopers say she failed to yield to a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe being driven by 47-year old Todd Dittrick of Snohomish. The Tahoe struck the Dakota pickup on the driver’s side door in the Northbound Lanes.
Andrea Veillard was injured in the crash and transported to Providence Hospital for treatment for her injuries.
Todd Dittrick was not injured in the crash.
Two young passengers in the dodge truck, a 4-year-old boy and an 11 month old boy, both from Arlington were not injured in the crash.

17-Year old female passenger in the Tahoe was injured and transported to Providence Hospital. A 13-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

The press memo says drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash and all passengers were properly restrained with their seat belts.
Both Vehicles were impounded for safe keeping by Discount Towing.
The cause is under investigation and charges are pending in the crash.
