According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, a 35-year old man from Kent, who troopers did not name, was traveling Southbound on Interstate 405 at a high rate of speed  in a green 2000 Ford Explorer. The press memo says the explorer struck the rear bumper of a 2013 Toyota Camry, driven by 38-year old Simon Mitchell of Seattle. The force of the crash caused the Ford Explorer to rotate and rollover, striking the Jersey Barrier, where it finally came to rest in the HOV Lane.    The Camry came to rest on the right shoulder.  Mr. Mitchell  was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
