A second dog escaped the fire but took off running and is still missing.  The small white dog was last seen running across the bridge between Burlington and Mount Vernon, where it is believed it turned and went down  Whitmarsh Road.  If you see the dog, please notify Animal Control so they can attempt to catch him.

Missing Dog

The fire was quickly brought under control by firefighters and fire damage was limited to one unit.  Several surrounding units may have suffered minor smoke damage.
