Skagit County, WA – Skagit County has received $1.5 million in funding from a variety of Federal, State and Local resources to provide to qualified organizations experienced in homeless crisis response services.
According to a press release from Skagit County Public Health, the money is available to local public-interest organizations to invest in projects that support affordable housing, Coordinated Entry and Assessment, Low Barrier Shelter Planning, Shelter and Transitional Housing, Rental Assistance and Case Management.
Interested Organizations must submit letters of interest to Skagit County by 3 p.m. Friday, March 3rd, 2017.
Full Proposal packages are due by 3 p.m. Friday, March 31st, 2017.
Funds for this program will come from the Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Skagit County Document Recording Fees.
Skagit County Receives various State grants and document recording fees for which funds must be used in accordance with funding guidelines, statutory requirements, and the strategies outlined in the Skagit County Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness.
