Stanwood, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on West State Route 532, 2 miles East of Stanwood.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 26-year old Colin Black of Stanwood was traveling Westbound on SR532 in a 2011 Chevrolet Express Van.
55-Year old John White of Stanwood was traveling Northbound on Old Highway 99 approaching SR532 on a 1993 BMW K75 Motorcycle. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Mr. White was injured and transported to Providence Hospital. The press memo states Mr. White has a valid motorcycle endorsement and was wearing an US Dot Compliant Helmet.
The cause of the crash is listed as fail to stop at traffic signal and charges are under investigation.
