California Man Dies in Whatcom County Crash

Whatcom County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two car fatal  crash  on Kwina Road at Lummi Shore drive around 9:48 a.m. on July 13th, 2017.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 67-year old Raymond Loughlin of Mountain View, CA was traveling Eastbound on Kwina Road in a 1996 Ford F-150 Pickup truck when he suffered an unknown medical emergency.  His pickup drifted to the right, traveled off the roadway, striking a fence and continued onto Southbound Lummi Road where it struck a 2015 Acura MDX SUV being driven Southbound onto Lummi Shore Drive by his wife, 69-year old  Patricia Loughlin of Mountain View, CA.

Mr. Loughlin died at the scene. His wife was not injured.  The cause of the crash was listed as medical/non traffic.
