Driver Survives Fiery Crash in Skagit County

Skagit County, WA – Firefighters from the Allen, Edison, Samish Island and Bay View Fire Departments  responded with the Washington State Patrol and the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office to a semi truck crash near Avon Allen and Allen West Road.

The truck driver struck a guard rail and several street signs before his truck left the roadway and narrowly missed several trees before hitting a boat and bursting into flames.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
