Bellingham, WA – Officers from the Bellingham Police Department responded to a smash and grab robbery at the Gold N’ Time Kiosk inside the Bellis Fair Mall around 8:15 p.m. on July 18th, 2017.

Witnesses say a man wearing a mask, ski goggles and a hood walked up to the counter and pepper sprayed a clerk in the face before he smashed the glass case and stole gold chain jewelry. The man then ran from the scene and jumped into a tan car with no plates on it before fleeing the area.

Employee Anthony Alcaraz posted on Facebook that he was the clerk working at the time of the Robbery. He asked the public to call the Police or Gold N Time with any information if members of the public see anyone trying to sell gold chains cheap.
Bellingham Police Continue to Investigate and will release more information when it becomes available.
