Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a 1 car versus pedestrian, fatality incident on Northbound I-5 at 164th Street in Snohomish County.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 48-year old John Filori of Lynnwood was on the 164th Street overpass over the Northbound Lanes of I-5.
Troopers say as vehicles approached the overpass, Mr. Filori Jumped from the overpass and landed in Lane two of Northbound I-5 where he was struck by a green 2000 Ford F150 pickup being driven by a 54-year old Arlington Man.
Mr. Filori died at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not physically injured and released at the scene.
The cause of the incident is listed as Pedestrian Jumping From Overpass.
No Charges are expected against the driver of the truck.
