Skagit County, WA – Skagitbreaking.com was submitted photos of flooding at the Golden Eagle Blueberry Farm on Cockerham Island on Friday, November 24th, 2017.

Viewer Heather Bartelheimer, sent us the photos below and told us that they’ve lost about 150′ of land over the last three years to the Skagit River flooding, including about 30 feet that fell into the river overnight during the Thanksgiving 2017 Flood.

“There was a road our vehicles could use to access the berries at the end of the rows. Thank goodness my husband had the good sense not to drive through the standing water.” said Bartelheimer.
