Whatcom County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a fatal crash on State Route 9 near Lindsay Road, North of Nooksack around 11:09 a.m. on May 10th, 2018.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 39-year old Nicholas Margeson of Everson was traveling Southbound on State Route 9 in a green 2005 Kenworth Construction Truck with two black utility trailers hauling rolls of grass turf when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled, landing on its top. Mr. Margeson died at the scene.
Troopers say the driver was wearing a seat belt and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
