Sheriff: Mount Vernon Man Dies After Fight with CoWorker

Mount Vernon, WA – The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office has opened an investigation into the death of a 32-year old Mount Vernon man who died after a fight with a coworker.

Investigators were told the man had been in a physical fight with a coworker at a business in the 17000 block of Dunbar Road in Mount Vernon on April 26th, 2018.  After the fight, another coworker took the man home  and he was found unresponsive the following day.

The man was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon before being transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The man never regained consciousness and died on May 6th.

The incident remains under investigation.
