Chelan County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on Eastbound State Route 20 near Milepost 159.5 around 5:51 p.m. on June 12th, 2018.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 60-year old Shon Greer of Everett was traveling Eastbound State Route 20 on a grey 2010 BMW K1300 Motorcycle when the bike left the roadway and struck a tree. Mr. Greer died as a result of injuries in the crash.
Troopers say Greer had a valid motorcycle endorsement and was wearing a USDOT compliant helmet at the time of the crash.
Next of Kin was notified by family on scene.
The motorcycle was totaled and impounded by Classic Towing for safe keeping.
The cause of the crash is listed as “wheels off roadway.”
