Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on SR20 in Burlington

Burlington, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a vehicle verses pedestrian collision on State Route 20 near North Anacortes Street in Burlington around 6:08 p.mm. on November 23rd, 2018.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 24-year old James Fleury of Burlington was traveling Eastbound on State Route 20 in a green 2001 Acura Integra near North Anacortes Street.

Troopers say 52-year old Todd Mitchell Taylor of Mount Vernon,  was walking Westbound in the Eastbound Lane of State Route 20 near North Anacortes Street and was  wearing dark clothing when he was struck by the vehicle while in the roadway.

TAYLOR was transported to Harborview Medical Center with injuries.

The cause of the collision is listed as Pedestrian in Roadway. No Charges are expected against the driver of the vehicle.
