Skagit County, WA- The Washington State Patrol responded to a hit and run crash on State Route 20 near milepost 103, 13-miles East of Concrete around 2:11 p.m. on May 1st, 2019.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 28-year old Allison Donovan of Sedro-Woolley was traveling Eastbound on State Route 20 in a blue 2000 Chevrolet Blazer at a high rate of speed when she failed to negotiate a right hand turn and her vehicle began to slide. Troopers say Donovan’s vehicle crossed the center line and struck a red 1998 Dodge Avenger being driven by 41-year old Brandy Richhart of Denver, Colorado.

Troopers say Donovan fled the scene on foot and was unable to be located.  Richhart was transported via Air Ambulance to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Both vehicles were totaled and impounded to the Washington State Patrol bullpen in Burlington.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved or if DONOVAN was injured as she fled the scene.

The cause and possible charges remain under investigation.
