Two Injured in 3-Car Crash South of Monroe

Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a three-vehicle crash on Southbound State Route 203 near milepost 19 around 3:50 p.m. on June 13th, 2019.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 20-year old Anthony Hall of Gold Bar was traveling Northbound on State Route 203 near milepost 19  in a red 1997 Subaru Legacy when he crossed the center line and side swiped a gray 2019 Toyota Rav 4 being driven Southbound by 34-year old Andrew Batchelar of Victoria, B.C. Troopers say Hall’s vehicle then collided with a Silver 2018 Jeep Cherokee being driven by 31-year old Mitchel Thompson of Salem, Oregon.

Hall was injured and transported to Providence Regional Medical Center and Thompson was injured and transported to Evergreen Health in Monroe. Batchelar was not injured in the crash.

The Subaru Legacy and the Jeep Cherokee were both totaled in the crash. The Toyota Rav 4 was damaged. Femme Fa Towing and KNR Towing both responded to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.

Troopers say all three drivers wore their seat belts and drugs or alcohol were not suspected in the crash. The official cause of the crash and any possible charges are both pending investigation.
