Oak Harbor, WA– The Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle crash on NE Regatta Drive around 11:39 p.m. on July 12th, 2019.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 34-yar old Matthew Cramer of Oak Harbor was traveling Northbound on NE Regatta Drive on a gray 2002 Yamaha XV1700 motorcycle when he attempted to turn to go Westbound onto West Crescent Harbor Road at a high rate of speed. Troopers say Cramer lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in the roadway.
Cramer was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Troopers say drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The cause of the crash is listed as “Speed” and possible charges are pending against Cramer.
