Skagit County, WA- The Washington State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Route 9, just North of Carlson Place in Lake McMurray around 7:02 p.m. on August 18th, 2019.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 36-year old Aaron Fox of Tulalip was traveling Southbound on State Route 9 on a red 2017 Yamaha FZ-07 Motorcycle when he crossed the centerline and struck a dark green 1999 Toyota 4-Runner being driven by a 17-year old Arlington Teen.

Troopers say FOX was seriously injured in the crash and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. The 17-year old Arlington teen was not physically injured in the crash.
Troopers say FOX had a valid motorcycle endorsement and was wearing a USDOT compliant helmet. Drugs or Alcohol are not suspected in the crash.

Both vehicles were impounded for safe keeping by Budget Towing.
The cause of the crash is listed as “Crossing the Centerline”.
Possible charges against Mr. Fox are pending investigation, according to Troopers.
