Mount Vernon, WA – The Mount Vernon Fire Department in Conjunction with Mount Vernon Police Officers responded to a “High Risk Motor Vehicle Collision” in the area of East Fir Street at North 18th Street in Mount Vernon. The crash involves two vehicles and involves serious injuries. Airlift Northwest was requested to respond to Skagit Valley Hospital to transport a critically injured 3-year old child.

Roads in the area of the crash have been closed and the public is requested to avoid the area while first responders and investigators complete their investigation. The crash involves a small white vehicle and a white truck. No further information is available at this time.
