Skagit County, WA – Harbor Freight announced today that they are donating their entire supply of N95 Masks, Face Shields, 5 Mil and 7 Mil Nitrile Gloves to 24-hour Emergency Rooms that are in need of them around the country, due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
In the press release today, Harbor Freight said :If you work at a hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and are in need of these items, please ask the office in charge of procurement at your hospital to visit https://hf.tools/ppe-request so they can provide them with the information they’ll need to determine if they can make a donation. If you are not with a hospital, but would like to provide Harbor Freight with a name of a hospital with a 24-hour emergency room in your community that might need their help, you are asked to email email@example.com. In your email you are asked to identify the hospital’s city and state in the subject line, and the Harbor Freight team will follow up.
The public is asked not to make requests at local Harbor Freight Stores or to call the call center or hospitals.
For hospitals that Harbor Freight is able to help, they will email them a voucher when the supplies are available for pick up at their local Harbor Freight Tools Store.
Harbor Freight Owner and Founder, ERic Smidt, wrote, “Although we certainly won’t have enough of these supplies to fill everyone’s needs, we’re going to donate everything we’ve got. We also recognize that there are so many other critically important people responding to this crisis and that there is need everywhere. We’ve chosen to focus our efforts on hospitals with 24-hour emergency rooms with the hope that we can help as many people as possible right now.”
