Something new on our livestream list …. Cory Vincent will be hosting a “Behind The Music Happy Hour”. This will consist of Cory playing his own original songs and talking about the inspiration and back stories behind the tunes. I’m thinking this will be a cross of his podcast “Words & Music” with his Facebook livestream shows. It will be a great way to get to know all about this incredible musician from Skagit Valley who has been blowing up the local livestream world.
Sedro Woolley’s Wes Jones, frontman from Lazy Acres, will be making his second appearance as a solo artist on the livestream platform. His acoustic rock original songs and covers are a nice change of pace from the Americana/folk stylings.
All of our local favorites, Brittany Collins, Kristin Allen-Zito, Savanna Woods, Wayne Hayton, Chuck Dingee, JP Falcon Grady and Miller Campbell are all back at their usual times and we’re getting some new regulars with The Sweeting Brothers (Andrew and Jon Sweeting).
With the lockdown still in place, it’s a great time to take advantage of being able to enjoy all of the fantastic local talent. Hopefully you are finding some favorites in the mix. As things start to open up, these artists will start playing live again in some form or another. Make sure you keep up to date with the weekly roundup so you can go see these artists live, in person, in their natural habitat. Until then, if you have a few bucks and enjoy their music, please donate to their cash apps. It helps them to continue to make healing music for us.
