Snohomish County, WA – A Mount Vernon Man has been arrested after leading Troopers on a pursuit in Snohomish County and crashing into another vehicle.
According to a release by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, a 30-year old Mount Vernon man was arrested early this morning on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), multiple counts of Eluding a Police Vehicle, driving with a suspended license and a felony Department of Corrections Warrant.
Troopers say the pursuit started in Marysville and ended when the man crashed into another vehicle on 132nd Street Southeast at State Route 527 around 2:00 a.m. The driver of the other vehicle, a 26-year old woman from Everett and a passenger, a 29-year old male from Auburn, were both injured in the crash and transported by medics with injuries to a local hospital. The 30-year old Mount Vernon man was transported with minor injuries to a local hospital for treatment.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit responded to the crash scene and Detectives continue to investigate the crash. The roadway reopened around 7:00 a.m.
