Two Injured in Crash on Casino Drive

Skagit County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 12000 block of Casino Drive around 11:55 p.m. on July 24th, 2020.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 51-year old Gardener Greaves of Bellingham was traveling Eastbound on Casino Drive in a silver 1988 Chevy when he made a left turn directly in front of a Westbound 1999 BMW 528 being driven by 22-year old Daniel Otto of Freeland, Washington.   Otto and a passenger in his vehicle, 22-year old Jake Kiesel of Bellingham were both injured and transported to Island Hospital for treatment.   Troopers say all three men were wearing Seatbelts and Greaves was not injured in the crash.

Troopers say Greaves was believed to be under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol at the time of the crash and the cause of the crash  and possible charges remain under investigation.

Both Vehicle were totaled and impounded to the Washington State Patrol Bullpen in Burlington.
