Skagit County, WA – Thursday November 5, the Skagit County Drive through test site will be closed due to damage to tents and equipment. Unfortunately, high winds on Wednesday, November 4 lifted tents used to house equipment and keep staff safe. Testing site staff will work to clean the site tomorrow, with the hope of reopening on Friday, November 6.

Skagit County has operated the drive through testing site since April 2020. It is the longest continuously operating drive through, low barrier test site in Washington State. The test site is located at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

If you have questions or need additional information, contact Public Health at 360-416-1500. Follow Skagit County on Twitter at @SkagitGov for updates about the testing site schedule, wait times and weather conditions.
