Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Recovers Body of Missing Man from Little Pilchuck Creek

Snohomish County, WA – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of a missing 28-year old Everett man from Little Pilchuck Creek around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 22nd.  2021.

According to a press release from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, a nearby resident discovered the body of a male in the Little Pilchuck Creek near the 3400 block of North Machias Road in Lake Stevens around 5:30 p.m. and called 9-1-1.  Major Crimes Unit Detectives responded to the scene and recovered the body.

The 28-year old victim had been reported missing on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 according to family members. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the man was reported missing on Thursday, February 18th. Major Crimes Unit Detectives say there is no obvious signs of criminal activity, but the death is being investigated by detectives with the Major Crimes Unit for various reasons.

Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death, will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
