Skagit County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle crash at the intersection of Minkler Road and Hoehn Road in Skagit County around 10:43 a.m. on Friday, October 8th, 2021.
According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, a 69-year old Mount Vernon woman was traveling southbound on Hoehn Road in a 2012 Subaru Impreza when she failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a 2007 Toyota Tundra being driven Westbound on Minkler Road by a 20-year old woman from Concrete.
Trooper say the 69-year old Mount Vernon woman died at the scene. The 20-year old woman from Concrete received minor injuries in the crash. Trooper say both women were wearing seat belts and drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
The cause of the accident was listed as “Failure to Yield.”
