Skagit County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle crash on Westbound State Route 20 at Cabin Creek Road around 8:33 a.m. on September 3rd, 2022.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 33-year old Brice Kucera of Oroville, California was traveling Westbound State Route 20 in a 2021 Chevy U-Haul Pickup when he crossed over the fog line of the roadway and struck a bridge.

Mr. Kucera was transported to United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley where he died of his injuries. Troopers say Kucera was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash but was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The truck he was driving was totaled and impounded by Carl’s Towing for safe keeping.
